here’s my sketches for what I meant by weird wide triangle shapey hood. Keep in mind I haven’t drafted this and I don’t know how it works. This is just food for thought. If anybody wants my pattern for Jade’s hood, I’ve drafted it and I know it works (at least when it’s 5” tall, but I don’t have accurate measurements for how big it needs to be to fit on a head)
I just saw your John Hood on deviantart and I was wondering if you think it could be used (adapted of course) to make a Rose God tier hood? I only ask because your's is the only decent pattern on the interweb it would seem.
Theoretically. The hood would need to be a much different shape, anf the cape would need to be extended in front and behind the neck hole (and obv the back of the cape would need to be a triangle instead of a flat square). The hood should still be pretty tall to get that droopy mystical wizard hood effect, but I’m not sure about the exact shape (it could be a normal hood shape, just taller and deeper, or it could be a wonky shape, slanting forward in front of the eyes with a wide triangle cut out of the side). It’s up to you to find the correct shapes to get the right effect, but this should basically work for putting it together.
So, in short: yes and no?

I’ve been dicking around with it forever despite its absolutely beyond belief tiny size and it’s finally reached some semblance of completion.
It’s Problem Sleuth / Spades Slick, which is the pairing I never knew I needed. And then I really needed it. Anyway. It happened. It’s so unspecific it can be about two anthro wolves if you’re in to that.
I’d like concrit, if it’s available. I’d also like an invitation to archive of our own, because fanfiction.net is the writing equivalent of hanging your 70 hour painting facing the wall, with a little carboard sign that has a poorly rendered naruto tacked to the back of it.
